PI2MEQX2505Q

The PI2MEQX2505Q is an automotive MIPI D-PHY 1.2 ReDriver from Diodes that restores signal integrity between a camera or display and its SoC over long or flex interconnects, in a four-lane arrangement of four data lanes plus clock at up to 2.5 Gbps. Receiver equalisation is programmable and pin-adjustable at 3, 6 or 9 dB at 1.25 GHz, and output swing and pre-emphasis are likewise programmable, so the launch can be tuned to the channel. It supports bidirectional low-power signalling for DSI, passes ULPS and LP states, runs from a 1.8 V rail (1.62 V to 1.98 V) and draws 200 mW maximum active, 6 mW in low-power mode and 0.2 mW maximum in standby. The part is AEC-Q100 Grade 2 qualified for -40 C to +105 C and comes in a wettable-flank W-QFN3555-28 package that supports optical inspection of automotive solder joints. Selection advice: confirm the lane count and D-PHY version of both ends before selection - CSI camera links and DSI display links use the same physical layer but differ in low-power-mode direction requirements.
