CH343P
WCHCH343P is the QFN16-3x3 variant of the WCH CH343, a USB-to-high-speed-UART converter chip with hardware full-duplex serial transfer from 50 bps to 6 Mbps and automatic baud-rate identification and adaptation at 115200 bps and below (WCH CH343 datasheet, version 1E). It is the only CH343 variant with an integrated EEPROM, used to configure the USB vendor ID, product ID, maximum current and vendor/product string descriptors, and it exposes the full MODEM signal set in a 3 x 3 mm leadless package whose backplane is pin 0 ground (connection recommended). The serial I/O rail accepts 5 V, 3.3 V, 2.5 V or 1.8 V independently of the USB side, and the 12 MHz clock, power-on reset and unique USB serial number are integrated. Selection advice: pick CH343P when the design needs self-configured USB identity without external memory or when footprint is tight; when neither matters, the SOP-16 CH343G offers the same function with easier assembly and rework, while the ESSOP-10 CH343K drops several MODEM lines and has no EEPROM.
