API7720FS-13
Diodes IncorporatedAPI7720FS-13 adds the F option to the dual forward-channel API7720 layout: F codes default their outputs low whenever an input is left open or the input-side supply is unpowered, instead of floating high as the plain 7720 does. That fail-safe-low behaviour is the reason to buy this exact code - in gate-drive, relay or enable-line isolation a lost input supply then commands the safe off state rather than an unintended on state. Everything else is the narrow-body API772X specification: SO-8 (Type CJ2) with 3750VRMS UL 1577 isolation, >4mm creepage and clearance, and 6500VPK surge isolation. The channels still run to 100Mbps from 2.5V to 5.5V rails, with 150kV/us minimum CMTI, 11ns typical delay, UVLO near 2.2V rising and 2.1V falling, and -40 to +125C operation for solar, industrial and power-supply duties. Selection advice: specify the FS code where your system-level safety analysis requires a defined low output on input power loss; if a default-high state is the safe one in your design, order API7720S-13 instead, and move to the FSB codes when you also need the wide-body 5000VRMS barrier. Packing is 4000 pieces per 13-inch reel, marking 7720F. Parameters verified against Diodes Incorporated documentation.
