Date-code format and placement vary by manufacturer and product family. The lot label, device marking and traceability documents should be reviewed together.
Check handling condition
Moisture sensitivity, dry-pack condition, seal integrity and storage history may be more important than a simple age limit.
Agree before ordering
Put acceptable date code, mixed-lot rules and evidence requirements into the RFQ so every offer is comparable.
