API7721FSB-13 is the fully optioned split-direction code: channel A reversed (1 forward / 1 reverse), F fail-safe outputs that default low when the input side is open or unpowered, and the wide-body SO-8W (Type CJ) rated 5000VRMS per UL 1577. For an isolated CAN or UART link in high-voltage equipment this is the conservative choice - the return channel cannot float high and falsely signal activity if the controller side loses power, and the barrier carries VDE working isolation of 2121VPK with more than 8mm creepage and clearance. The family electrical table applies unchanged: 100Mbps maximum data rate, 2.5V to 5.5V supplies, CMOS threshold inputs, 150kV/us minimum CMTI, 11ns typical propagation delay, UVLO near 2.2V/2.1V and 165mW maximum total dissipation for the split-direction devices at 5.5V. Selection advice: three independent choices are frozen into this code - reverse channel A, default low, wide body - so check each against the design file; API7721SB-13 is the same part defaulting high, and API7722FSB-13 moves the reverse path to channel B.
