IIM-42652

IIM-42652 is a 6-axis MotionTracking IMU from TDK InvenSense in a 14-pin LGA (2.5 x 3 x 0.91 mm) — the SmartIndustrial member of the 426xx platform, for factory automation, robotics, AGVs and asset tracking, and listed by TDK as Production. The selection point is the industrial envelope: operation from −40 °C to +105 °C, where the consumer sibling ICM-42605 stops at +85 °C, with the same sensing class — gyroscope ranges of ±15.625 to ±2000 dps, accelerometer ranges of ±2/4/8/16 g and gyroscope noise of 0.0038 dps/√Hz. Verified figures include typical 6-axis current of 0.88 mA, sleep current of 7.5 µA, a 2 KB FIFO, 20,000 g shock tolerance, and I3C, I2C or SPI interfaces on VDD/VDDIO rails of 1.71–3.6 V. Selection advice: choose the IIM-42652 when the equipment's ambient or self-heating can push a consumer IMU past +85 °C, or when the product's service life assumes an industrial-grade component; if the design is a cost-driven consumer product that never leaves the +85 °C envelope, the ICM-42605 is the economical branch of the same platform.
