ICM-45686

TDK InvenSense

ICM-45686 is a 6-axis MotionTracking IMU from TDK InvenSense in a 14-pin LGA (2.5 x 3.0 x 0.81 mm) — for drones, robotics, AR/VR and high-dynamic motion sensing, and listed in TDK's current SmartMotion lineup. The selection point is range plus interface depth: gyroscope full-scale from ±15.625 to ±4000 dps in eight settings (independently settable on the UI and AUX paths) and accelerometer ranges of ±2/4/8/16/32 g, with gyroscope noise of 3.8 mdps/√Hz and accelerometer noise of 70 µg/√Hz. A FIFO of up to 8 KB (19-bit gyroscope and 18-bit accelerometer packet format) absorbs host latency, 6-axis low-noise current is 0.42 mA at 1,600 Hz ODR, and the interface set is I3C at 12.9 MHz, I2C at 1 MHz or SPI at 24 MHz, plus an auxiliary interface (SPI slave for OIS or I2C master) and an RTC input. Supply spans VDD 1.71–3.6 V and VDDIO 1.08–3.6 V across −40 °C to +85 °C. Selection advice: this is the only ICM-456xx code with ±4000 dps/±32 g ranges, AUX OIS support and RTC — if your design caps at ±2000 dps/±16 g and power dominates, evaluate the ICM-45605 instead. Parameters verified against TDK InvenSense datasheet DS-000577.
