AD4883BBCZ
Analog DevicesAD4883BBCZ is a dual-channel, 16-bit, 40 MSPS per channel SAR analog-to-digital converter with the analog front end integrated on the same die, in a 196-ball 10 mm by 10 mm CSP_BGA package. Each channel integrates a fully differential ADC driver with on-chip gain-setting resistors offering gains of 1.03, 1.25, 1.53, 2.03, 2.74, 4.11 and 5.77, plus single-ended to differential conversion, low-drift reference buffers and integrated supply decoupling, so the usual external driver and reference circuitry largely disappears. Performance is specified at 16-bit no missing codes with INL of plus/minus 6.5 ppm typical, SNR of 91.3 dBFS and THD of -107.2 dBc at 1 kHz input, conversion latency of only 48.44 ns, and power of 121.7 mW per channel at full 40 MSPS. A 16k-sample result FIFO per channel and a digital averaging filter with decimation up to 2^10 ease host load, with single or dual lane DDR LVDS or SPI data interfaces per channel, across -40 to +85 degrees C. Selection advice: choose the AD4883 for high-speed data acquisition, imaging, spectroscopy and control loops where latency and channel density both matter, and budget board area for the 0.65 mm pitch BGA. Parameters verified against Analog Devices documentation.
