AD4083BBCZ
Analog DevicesAD4083BBCZ is an Analog Devices 16-bit, 40 MSPS successive-approximation ADC in a 49-ball CSP_BGA package, the fastest 16-bit member of the AD408x precision SAR family. Conversion latency is just 48.43 ns, dynamic range reaches 92.94 dBFS, integral nonlinearity is ±8 ppm typical and ±12 ppm maximum, noise spectral density is 10.69 nV/√Hz, and dissipation at full speed is 70.2 mW. That combination - 16-bit linearity at 40 MSPS with nanosecond-scale latency - targets software-defined instrumentation, ATE and wideband acquisition front ends where flash-style speed used to force a resolution compromise. A 16K FIFO and the family's Easy Drive input architecture carry over from the flagship AD4082. Selection advice: within this family the speed/resolution split is the decision - AD4083 for 16-bit at 40 MSPS, AD4085BBCZ for 16-bit at 10 MSPS with tighter INL, and AD4082BBCZ when 20-bit resolution outranks sample rate; all share the 49-ball 5 x 5 mm CSP_BGA footprint. ADI specifies the part in its formal Rev. 0 datasheet with a complete ordering guide. Parameters verified against Analog Devices documentation.
