AD4085BBCZ

Analog Devices

AD4085BBCZ is an Analog Devices 16-bit, 10 MSPS successive-approximation ADC in a 49-ball CSP_BGA package, the linearity-optimized 16-bit member of the AD408x precision SAR family. Integral nonlinearity is ±5 ppm typical and ±10 ppm maximum - the tightest of the family's 16-bit codes - with 93.2 dBFS dynamic range, 20.85 nV/√Hz noise spectral density, 131.25 ns latency and 57.8 mW dissipation at full speed. A 16K FIFO buffers bursts for the host interface and the Easy Drive input relaxes the anti-alias driver design, so the converter suits precision data acquisition, instrumentation and medical imaging channels that sample in the single-digit megahertz but cannot trade DC accuracy for speed. Selection advice: choose the AD4085 over the 40 MSPS AD4083BBCZ when INL and power matter more than throughput; both share the 49-ball 5 x 5 mm CSP_BGA package and the family's interface, so the choice can be revisited late in layout. ADI specifies the part in its formal Rev. 0 datasheet with a complete ordering guide. Parameters verified against Analog Devices documentation.
