AS5047P-ATSM

AS5047P-ATSM is the 7-inch tape-and-reel ordering code (500 pieces per reel) for the ams AS5047P high-speed magnetic rotary position sensor, in a TSSOP-14 package. The sensor resolves angle at 14 bits with ±0.8° maximum integral nonlinearity at 25 °C with the magnet in its optimal position (the v2-00 datasheet, Figure 8, lists this value in the Max column with no typical given), tracks rotation to 28,000 rpm, works with magnet field strengths of 35 mT to 70 mT, and runs from either a 5 V rail (4.5 V to 5.5 V) or a 3.3 V rail (3.0 V to 3.6 V) over a -40 °C to +125 °C ambient range. The selection point is speed with contactless sensing: motor commutation and optical-encoder replacement at shaft speeds where encoders add cost and contamination risk, with no wear surface to degrade. Selection advice: ATSM is the 7-inch reel - the 13-inch reel sister code is AS5047P-ATST, so match the reel size to your feeder setup when quoting; the magnet is a separate design item (diametrically magnetized, centred over the die), and the field it produces at the sensor must land inside the 35 mT to 70 mT window for the specified accuracy.
