TCAN1162DMTRQ1
Texas InstrumentsTCAN1162DMTRQ1 is a Texas Instruments AEC-Q100 Grade 1 CAN FD system transceiver in a 4.5 by 3.0 mm VSON-14 (DMT) package with wettable flanks, designed for CAN nodes powered straight from a 12 V or 24 V battery rail. Its VSUP input accepts 5.5 V to 28 V, and the integrated 5 V regulator powers the transceiver itself from that rail — note carefully that this regulator is for the transceiver's own internal supply only and provides no regulated output for external circuitry. The CAN side runs CAN FD at up to 8 Mbps with plus/minus 58 V bus-fault protection including load-dump tolerance on VSUP, a VIO pin accepts 1.7 V to 5.5 V for direct connection to low-voltage MCUs, and Normal, Standby and Sleep modes with INH and WAKE pins plus a TXD dominant time-out support managed wake-up architectures. Selection advice: choose this code when the node has no 5 V rail and the transceiver must live directly on the battery line. If your design needs a regulated output to power other circuitry, that is a different member of the family — the TCAN11625-Q1 (5 V, 100 mA) or TCAN11623-Q1 (3.3 V, 70 mA) — not this code. Parameters verified against TI documentation for the TCAN1162-Q1.

TCAN1162DMTRQ1 FAQ
Is TCAN1162DMTRQ1 automotive-qualified?
The TCAN1162DMTRQ1 ordering code carries the manufacturer's automotive qualification marker. Qualification grade, temperature range and PPAP documentation depend on the exact lot offered, so state your automotive documentation requirements (PPAP level, AEC test reports) in the RFQ and we will confirm them against the offered lot before quotation.
