TCAN1043ATDRQ1
Texas InstrumentsTCAN1043ATDRQ1 is the T-version orderable of TI's TCAN1043A-Q1 automotive CAN FD transceiver, in a 14-pin SOIC (D) package. It is a full system transceiver rather than a bare bus driver: beyond the ISO 11898-2:2016 physical layer it adds Normal, Silent, Standby and Sleep modes, an INH high-side output that gates the system power supply, local and remote wake-up, and a watchdog-style SWE timer that forces Sleep after about four minutes of inactivity in Standby. The logic side runs from a separate VIO rail of 1.7 V to 5.5 V, the bus pins tolerate ±58 V faults including load dump on the supply pin, a TXD dominant time-out protects the network from a stuck controller, and the junction range is -40 °C to +150 °C under AEC-Q100 qualification. The defining limit of this T code is the CAN FD data rate, capped at 5 Mbps, and its ESD characteristics differ slightly from the full A version. Selection advice: order the T code only when your OEM or network specification fixes the bus at 5 Mbps; otherwise the A version, already listed in this catalog, gives 8 Mbps headroom in the same footprint. Parameters verified against Texas Instruments documentation.
