TCAN1043ADRQ1
Texas InstrumentsTCAN1043ADRQ1 is a Texas Instruments AEC-Q100 CAN FD system transceiver in SOIC-14, compliant with ISO 11898-2:2016, for body, gateway and battery-management nodes that must manage their own power state. It runs CAN FD at up to 8 Mbps, with a VIO pin accepting 1.7 V to 5.5 V so TXD and RXD match 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3.3 V or 5 V controllers directly. The business value is system-level: Normal, Silent, Standby and Sleep modes, an INH high-voltage output that gates the system power rail, local WAKE plus remote bus wake, and a watchdog-style SWE timer that forces Sleep after about four minutes of inactivity in Standby together cut quiescent drain without extra supervisor circuitry. Bus-fault protection is plus/minus 58 V with load-dump tolerance on the VSUP pin, and a TXD dominant time-out guards against a hung MCU; junction temperature range is -40 to +150 degrees C. Selection advice: choose this A version for the full 8 Mbps data rate and the complete INH sleep/wake feature set; the T version of the family is capped at 5 Mbps and is only worth specifying where an OEM mandates it. Parameters verified against TI documentation for the TCAN1043A-Q1.
