STCC4-D-R3

STCC4-D-R3 is a miniature carbon dioxide sensor from Sensirion in a metal-cap LGA package of just 4 x 3 x 1.2 mm, measuring 400 to 5000 ppm by thermal conductivity with an accuracy of plus/minus (100 ppm + 10 percent) per the official data sheet, I2C addresses 0x64 / 0x65, a 2.7 V to 5.5 V supply and a 950 uA average current in 1 Hz periodic mode. It brings direct CO2 measurement to indoor air quality monitors, smart thermostats and air conditioners at consumer volumes. Selection advice: the -D-R3 code is the 1,500-piece tape-and-reel order form from the data sheet ordering table (Sensirion part 3.000.976); the sensor needs continuous temperature and humidity compensation input from an SHT4x sensor, so budget the companion part in the design. Parameters verified against the Sensirion STCC4 data sheet D1 (June 2025), which supersedes the comparison-table accuracy figure.
