SEN62

SEN62 is an environmental sensor node from Sensirion in a housed module package, measuring six parameters - particulate matter PM1, PM2.5, PM4 and PM10 plus temperature and relative humidity - over an I2C interface on a 3.3 V supply, for air-quality monitoring in HVAC equipment, purifiers and building automation. The integrated multi-parameter node is the selection point: one factory-characterised module replaces a separate particle sensor and an RH/T sensor, and the sensing element is rated for a service life above 10 years of continuous indoor monitoring, which suits installed equipment that is rarely serviced. Selection advice: the SEN6x platform is graded by parameter set, so choose by what your product must report - the SEN62 is the base node with particles and RH/T only; if the specification also calls for VOC and NOx indexes, step up to the SEN65, and for true CO2 measurement take the SEN66 instead.
