W25Q128JVSIM

Winbond

The W25Q128JVSIM is the current 128M-bit SpiFlash serial NOR flash in the wide SOIC-8 208-mil package. The JV generation runs standard, Dual and Quad SPI at up to 133 MHz with Continuous Read for execute-in-place boot, a single 2.7 V to 3.6 V supply, uniform 4 KB sectors, a minimum of 100,000 program/erase cycles per sector and data retention beyond 20 years; SFDP parameters and a 64-bit unique ID simplify bring-up. It is the production choice at this density for gateways, networking and industrial controllers, and the recommended successor for designs still specifying the discontinued FV-generation W25Q128FVSIG in the same footprint. This code is the industrial temperature version in SOIC-8; where board area is tight, the same JV die is offered in WSON and XSON leadless packages under different order codes. Parameters verified against Winbond documentation.
