VL53L4CDV0DH/1 is an STMicroelectronics Time-of-Flight proximity sensor in an optical LGA-12 package (4.4 mm × 2.4 mm × 1 mm) with liner, using a 940 nm VCSEL emitter. Per the Rev 8 datasheet it measures from 0 to 1300 mm with an 18° field of view at up to 100 Hz over an I2C interface, across -30 °C to +85 °C — a high-accuracy short-range distance sensor for presence detection, autofocus assist and level sensing. Selection advice: use the datasheet's 1300 mm range figure; some ST store text quotes 1200 mm for this part. The /1 code is the tape-and-reel ordering form in the datasheet table, and the VL53 family's members differ in range and field of view, so do not substitute across VL53 codes without re-checking both.
