TP1961-TR
3PEAKThe TP1961-TR is 3PEAK's single ultra-high-speed comparator in SOT-23-5 tape-and-reel form, the one-channel member of the TP1961/TP1962/TP1964 family. Propagation delay is 7 ns typical at 100 mV overdrive on a 2.5 V to 5.5 V supply, inputs accept signals beyond the rails (from 0.1 V below VSS to 0.1 V above VDD), typical input offset is plus/minus 2 mV with about 7.5 mV of built-in hysteresis, and quiescent current is 2.4 mA per comparator. The push-pull output drives CMOS and TTL loads directly without a pull-up resistor, which keeps the fast edges the delay figure promises. This is the class of comparator used for clock and data recovery, fast threshold detection, pulse-width measurement and level translation in 3 V and 5 V systems, where a general-purpose device would consume the whole timing budget. Selection advice: the speed is real only with disciplined layout - short input runs, a solid ground return and supply decoupling at the package - and if the design needs two or four channels instead, stay in the same family with TP1962 or TP1964 rather than mixing comparator families with different delay and hysteresis behaviour. Parameters verified against 3PEAK documentation.
