TLE5012BD-E9200

TLE5012BD-E9200 is a dual-die XENSIV magnetic angle sensor for automotive angular position sensing, ordered as OPN TLE5012BDE9200XUMA1 in the PG-TDSO-16 package. Two fully redundant sensor ICs in one package measure the sine and cosine components of a rotating magnetic field with integrated GMR (iGMR) elements, delivering 360 degree absolute angle values at 15-bit resolution with a fast 42 microsecond update rate, plus revolution counter and angle-speed information. An internal autocalibration algorithm holds angle accuracy over the wide automotive temperature range and service life, and online diagnostic functions with status information support Safety Integrity Level system designs for electric motor commutation, steering angle measurement and general angular sensing. The bidirectional SSC interface is SPI-compatible, so angle and raw sine/cosine values read out over a standard serial link. Status must be stated plainly: Infineon lists this variant as Not for new design, so it belongs in existing qualified designs and lifecycle sustainment rather than new platform starts; for a new design, select a TLE5012B variant whose product status is active and preferred.
