Infineon Technologies

TLE5012B-E5020 is an Infineon Technologies XENSIV GMR magnetic angle sensor in a PG-DSO-8 package, preconfigured with an SSC interface plus a 1953 Hz open-drain PWM output — the current-production PWM variant of the family, suited to steering-angle and actuator position sensing where the controller reads angle as a PWM duty cycle. The higher PWM frequency and 42.7 µs angle update rate track fast-moving shafts more closely than the legacy 244 Hz variant, and autocalibration mode 2 keeps angle error compensated over life while prediction and hysteresis are switched off in this preconfiguration. It operates from 3.0 V to 5.5 V across a -40 to +150 °C junction range and a 25 mT to 70 mT magnetic field range. Infineon lists this variant as active and preferred; it is the recommended path for designs that would previously have used the E5000, which Infineon now marks not for new design. Selection advice: choose E5020 for new PWM-based angle designs; choose the E9000 on this site when the host expects an SPC (SENT-based) interface instead; confirm the open-drain PWM requirement in your RFQ. Parameters verified against the Infineon TLE5012B-E5020 product page.
