TCPP03-M20
STMicroelectronicsTCPP03-M20 is STMicroelectronics’ USB-C Power Delivery companion chip in 4x4mm QFN-20 — for STM32 designs that implement dual-role-power USB-C PD through the MCU’s UCPD peripheral: it provides the high-voltage analog front end the MCU cannot, including gate drivers for external N-MOSFETs on both consumer and provider VBUS paths, 24 V tolerance on VBUS and CC pins, and adjustable overvoltage/overcurrent protection. PD 3.1 up to 100 W SPR with PPS fast-charging support, integrated VBUS/VCONN discharge, dead-battery management, VBUS current-sense amplifier output, and USB-IF certification (TID 6408). -40 to +125°C, ECOPACK2. Selection advice: this is the DRP (dual-role) member — for sink-only protection the TCPP01-M12 costs less, for source-only the TCPP02-M18; the value proposition is reusing the application’s existing STM32 as the PD policy manager instead of adding a standalone controller. Confirm the STM32 part has the UCPD peripheral before specifying. Parameters verified against STMicroelectronics documentation.
