ACPL-332J-500E

The ACPL-332J-500E is a 2.5 A gate drive optocoupler from Broadcom in a wide-body SO-16 package, with 5,000 Vrms isolation and integrated desaturation (DESAT) fault detection, undervoltage lockout (UVLO) and an active Miller clamp. Those protections let one optocoupler drive IGBTs and power MOSFETs in motor drives, inverters and industrial power supplies while shutting the switch down safely on a short circuit, instead of relying on external detection circuitry.
