STUSB4531QTR is STMicroelectronics’ USB PD 3.2 sink controller in 3x3mm QFN-16 — the industry’s first PD 3.2 sink part with a hybrid mode that splits the difference between hardwired simplicity and full software stacks: auto-run handles power negotiation autonomously, while hybrid mode lets an MCU add advanced features (PPS direct charging, alternate modes, VDM) through interrupts without implementing the whole PD protocol. Five sink PDO profiles (fixed, variable, PPS), EPR-ready via software, active VBUS monitoring, and EU common-charger conformance (IEC 62680-1-3/1-2:2024, USB-C rev 2.4, TID 13956). -40 to +105°C.
