LT80605AAFOA/VY+T
Analog DevicesLT80605AAFOA/VY+T is the automotive-grade 5.5 A variant of the LT80605A Silent Switcher step-down regulator, working from 3 V to 65 V inputs in a 17-lead 3 mm by 4 mm QFN package. It is the highest-current orderable member of this family in the automotive package: side-wettable flanks allow automatic optical inspection of every solder joint on the production line, and spread-spectrum frequency modulation lowers EMI peaks, complementing the low-emission Silent Switcher architecture for EMC-critical vehicle and industrial platforms. An 8 microamp quiescent current keeps standby drain negligible for always-on rails, and the operating range reaches +150 degrees C junction for hot environments. Selection advice: specify this code when a 12 V, 24 V or 48 V rail must deliver a full 5.5 A with automotive assembly inspection in place; drop to the LT80604AAFOA/VY+T at 4 A only when load analysis shows comfortable margin, since both codes share the footprint. As with the rest of the family, variants carrying the potential-future-product footnote in the datasheet ordering table are not orderable and should not be designed in. Parameters verified against Analog Devices documentation.
