ISO1540DR
Texas InstrumentsISO1540DR is a Texas Instruments isolated bidirectional I2C transceiver in an SOIC-8 package — it isolates both the clock and data lines of an I2C bus at up to 1 MHz, from 3 V to 5.5 V supplies, with open-drain outputs (3.5 mA sink on side 1, 35 mA on side 2), ±50 kV/µs typical transient immunity, 2,500 Vrms UL1577 isolation and a 4,242 Vpeak VDE rating, over −40 to +125 °C. Selection advice: bidirectional isolation is the point — a standard digital isolator cannot pass I2C's wired-AND clock stretching and acknowledgement, so this dedicated two-channel device replaces optocoupler workarounds in isolated sensor and power-management buses; the DR code is the SOIC-8 tape-and-reel packing at 2,500 per reel. TI lists this code as ACTIVE. Parameters verified against Texas Instruments documentation.
