PAC1861T-1E/3P

Microchip Technology

The PAC1861 is the 16-bit member of Microchip's 65 V digital power monitor family, aimed at 48 V architectures in data-center, server, networking, PoE and automotive systems. Sixteen-bit resolution across a 100 mV full-scale sense range (configurable to 50 mV) resolves small currents on high-voltage rails more finely than 12-bit monitors, while 75 V spike protection, 1% power accuracy, a 32-bit power accumulator and a coulomb-counting mode deliver energy and state-of-charge data over SMBus 3.1 / I2C at up to 3.4 Mbps. Programmable voltage, current and power alerts plus step-limit detection flag load transients autonomously. Per Microchip's ordering table this -1E/3P code is MSOP-10; other family codes use VDFN packages, so state the package explicitly when ordering. It is pin-compatible with the 12-bit PAC1761, letting one PCB serve both accuracy tiers. Parameters verified against Microchip Technology documentation.
