APK43070QDKZ-13-FA01

Diodes Incorporated

The APK43070QDKZ-13-FA01 is an automotive synchronous buck controller with an integrated USB Type-C PD 3.1 source controller from Diodes, launched for vehicle USB charging ports. From a 4 V to 36 V input it supports EPR and AVS profiles up to 28 V and SPR/PPS up to 21 V, delivering up to 140 W per port, with the constant-frequency buck stage driving external N-channel MOSFETs at a resistor-selected 125, 250, 350 or 400 kHz and up to 95% maximum duty cycle. A VIN DC pass-through mode lets the high-side device double as the VBUS switch, saving an output switch. An I2C master/slave scheme coordinates up to eight ports for intelligent power sharing without an external MCU; protection covers OVP, OCP, UVP and OTP plus connector moisture detection, and the CC and D+/D- pins tolerate shorts to VBUS up to 30 V. The Q-suffix part is the automotive version in a W-QFN4040-24 package. Selection advice: state the firmware option (FA01) explicitly in your RFQ, because the programmable behaviour of this family is defined by the ordered variant. Parameters verified against Diodes Incorporated documentation.
