TPS22917DBVR is a Texas Instruments single-channel load switch in a SOT-23-6 package, switching rails from 1 V to 5.5 V at up to 2 A with an 80 mΩ typical on-resistance at 5 V. Quiescent current is 0.5 µA typical and shutdown current 10 nA, the rise time is adjustable for inrush control, a quick-output-discharge pulls the rail down at turn-off, and true reverse-current blocking protects the input rail when the output is held up from the other side. Selection advice: the reverse-current blocking is what separates this part from the lower-cost TPS22918 — pick the TPS22917 when a battery or a second supply can back-feed the output, and the TPS22918 when it cannot; the DBVR code is the SOT-23-6 tape-and-reel packing.
