MTCH3240P-MAU001

The MTCH3240P-MAU001 is a turnkey capacitive touch controller in a 38-pin XQFN measuring just 4 mm x 4 mm x 0.35 mm, aimed at display-free panels in appliances and industrial equipment. This MAU001 code is the tray packing; the tape-and-reel ordering code is MTCH3240P-MAUR001, so state the packing you need when ordering. It senses up to 32 keys in mutual-capacitance mode or 24 in self-capacitance mode, plus up to six slider or wheel groups, using 12 ADC channels that acquire in parallel to keep response fast and signal-to-noise ratio high as sensors are added. Noise immunity is rated at 240 Vpp with IEC 61000-4-6 Class A conducted-immunity performance, the host interface is I2C at up to 1 MHz, and the device is designed to support IEC/UL 60730 Class B functional-safety certification across -40 °C to +105 °C. Selection note: pick the 3240P for compact panels up to 32 keys; step up to the MTCH3380P if you need more keys, the integrated 6.6 V sensor-drive boost or PWM outputs, which this smaller device omits.
