LMR16030PDDAR
Texas InstrumentsLMR16030PDDAR is the tape-and-reel HSOIC-8 (SO PowerPAD, DDA) ordering code for the Texas Instruments LMR16030 step-down converter, listed by TI as Active / Production in the current Package Option Addendum (9 November 2025). The P in the code is the power-good variant: pin 6 is an open-drain PGOOD flag that may be left unconnected, and soft start is an internal fixed 4 ms ramp rather than an external capacitor. Its electrical characteristics are the family table shared with the S code - a 4.3 V to 60 V input range, a feedback reference of 0.746 V to 0.754 V (0.750 V typical) at 25 °C, high-side on-resistance of 155 mΩ typical and 320 mΩ maximum, a high-side current limit between 3.80 A and 5.70 A, and an adjustable 200 kHz to 2.5 MHz switching range; the datasheet does not publish separate S and P electrical columns, and none are invented here. The selection point is sequenced 60 V-class rails: a power-good flag lets downstream converters and supervisors wait for this rail to be in regulation before enabling. Selection advice: choose the P code when the design needs the flag and a fixed 4 ms start; choose the S code when the start-up ramp must be set by an external capacitor - the two codes are not interchangeable on a laid-out board because pin 6 changes function. Parameters verified against the TI LMR16030 datasheet SNVSAH9B and the current Package Option Addendum.
