DS1302Z+T&R
Analog DevicesThe DS1302 is a trickle-charge timekeeping chip that counts seconds, minutes, hours, date, month, day of week and year, with leap-year compensation valid up to 2100, plus 31 bytes of battery-backed RAM for calibration or status data. A simple three-wire serial interface and a wide 2.0 V to 5.5 V operating range make it an easy add-on clock for metering, data logging and legacy embedded boards, and the programmable trickle charger keeps a supercap or rechargeable backup cell topped up without external charging circuitry. This Z code is the commercial-grade SOIC-8 device supplied on tape and reel; designs that need the industrial temperature range must order the ZN code instead, because the two are different ordering variants and are not interchangeable on a purchase order. Parameters verified against Analog Devices documentation.
