BQ76200PWR

Texas Instruments

BQ76200PWR is a high-side NFET charge and discharge driver in a TSSOP-16 (PW) package, designed to work alongside battery monitors for packs of 3 to 16 cells. It operates with battery voltages up to 75 V (100 V absolute maximum) and draws a typical 40 µA in NORMAL mode, so the driver does not become a standby drain on large packs. Operating range is -40 C to +85 C. For multi-cell systems such as e-bikes, energy storage and industrial battery packs, high-side switching keeps the ground path continuous, which simplifies communication and measurement while the pack is isolated for faults or service. Paired with a monitor IC, it completes the protection front end without discrete level-shifting circuitry. Selection advice: select BQ76200PWR when the pack switches external NFETs on the high side and stays within the 75 V working limit; low-side architectures or higher-voltage packs need a different driver strategy. Parameters verified against Texas Instruments documentation.
