ARX383CSSM28SMKA0-CR is an onsemi 1/8-inch 0.3-megapixel monochrome CMOS image sensor in a 3.92 x 3.56 mm CSP-35 package, for barcode scanning, gesture recognition, 3D scanning, positional tracking, iris scanning and machine vision. Its global shutter captures fast-moving scenes without rolling-shutter distortion, with 640 x 480 active pixels at 2.8 µm pitch, 120 frames per second at 10-bit full resolution, a 1-lane 8-bit/10-bit MIPI output up to 480 Mbps per lane, 65.3 dB dynamic range and 37 dB SNRMAX. Monochrome responsivity of 41.9 ke-/lux-s gives strong low-light and IR performance, and on-chip functions including auto exposure control, windowing, row and column skip, binning and a 5 x 5 statistics engine cut host processing. Typical power is 80 mW at full resolution and 120 fps, on 1.8 V I/O, 1.2 V digital and 2.8 V analog supplies. Selection advice: the SM28 code denotes a 28-degree chief ray angle, so match the CRA to your lens; the SM00 twin is the 0-degree option.
