TL7705AIDR
Texas InstrumentsTL7705AIDR is a 5 V supply-voltage supervisor in an SOIC-8 (D) package, with a nominal reset threshold of 4.55 V and a wide 3.5 V to 18 V operating supply range. It provides complementary open-drain RESET outputs, and the reset delay is set with an external capacitor, so the same device can hold a processor in reset long enough for supplies and oscillators to settle. The I grade covers -40 C to +85 C. For embedded controllers and industrial boards, a deterministic power-up and brownout reset prevents corrupted starts and undefined logic states, which reduces intermittent field behaviour that is hard to reproduce on the bench. Selection advice: choose the TL7705A when the supervised rail is a nominal 5 V rail and you want an adjustable reset delay; for fixed-delay 3.3 V systems, a dedicated 3.3 V supervisor is the cleaner fit, so match the supervisor threshold to the rail rather than reusing this 5 V code by habit.
