NID1101UP

NID1101UP is a Nexperia ideal diode in a WLCSP-4 (SOT8113) package — it replaces a Schottky diode in ORing, reverse-polarity protection and power-path switching with a forward drop of just 29 mV typical at up to 1.5 A continuous, across a 1.5 V to 5.5 V input range. Nexperia lists the part in Production with a formal Rev. 1 datasheet; the orderable type number is NID1101UP — the family shorthand NID1101 alone is not an order code. Selection advice: the saving is heat and headroom — at 1.5 A a 29 mV drop dissipates roughly a tenth of the power of a comparable Schottky, which can be the difference between a sealed wearable or handheld thermal budget closing or not. WLCSP-4 is a chip-scale footprint with minimal copper, so respect the datasheet layout and current derating, and check reverse-current blocking behaviour and start-up into pre-biased rails against your ORing topology; for higher currents or voltages, move to an ideal-diode controller plus an external FET.
