MPSMP2759GQ-0000-Z is a switch-mode battery charger IC from MPS in a 3 x 3 mm QFN-19, tape and reel, integrating the power MOSFETs and power-path management for 1- to 6-cell Li-ion and Li-polymer packs, with up to 3 A charge current from an input rated to 36 V. Cell count and full-charge voltage are set by pins, so no I2C firmware is needed. Selection advice: the -0000 code is the factory default configuration that MPS lists among the active MP2759 order codes (-xxxx codes are customer-specific configurations); do not substitute the MP2759A where battery temperature protection is critical, because its NTC window is narrower.
