EL0631(TA)

EL0631(TA) is an Everlight dual-channel high-speed optocoupler in an SOP-8 package: two independent 10 Mbit/s logic-output channels in one package, with 3750 Vrms isolation and 10 kV/µs common-mode transient immunity — two isolated digital links for the board area of one, in fieldbus nodes, encoder interfaces, isolated UART and SPI links and PLC I/O. The full code is assembled from Everlight's own ordering formula in its datasheet, with (TA) denoting the tape-and-reel packing option; quote the complete EL0631(TA) form so the packing matches the order. Selection advice: the dual-channel density is the reason to choose this part over two single-channel couplers — but both channels share one package and one isolation barrier specification, so check the channel-to-channel requirements of your safety design, and compare the 10 kV/µs CMR against your environment: in high-dv/dt inverter cabinets, common-mode immunity, not the 10 Mbit/s headline rate, is what keeps the link error-free. Against transistor-output couplers such as the EL817 family, this is a logic part: it needs its supply pins powered and returns a digital signal, not a saturated transistor.
