DRV2605LDGSR
Texas InstrumentsDRV2605LDGSR is a Texas Instruments haptic driver for LRA and ERM actuators in a VSSOP-10 package, tape and reel, on a 2 to 5.2 V supply with I2C control plus PWM and trigger inputs and a 1.8 V-compatible digital interface. Its Smart-Loop architecture provides automatic overdrive and braking, LRA auto-resonance tracking and reporting, and a licensed Immersion TouchSense 2200 effect library of over 100 effects (six ERM libraries plus one LRA library), along with audio-to-vibe conversion. Selection advice: the L version exists to remove waveform development - pick it when the product needs a ready effect library out of the box; note its supply range is the L-specific 2 to 5.2 V, not the 2.5 to 5.5 V of the non-L DRV2605, and choose the DGS package for easy assembly unless the board area forces the BGA order code. TI's package addendum lists this code as Active in Production and the datasheet is marked Production Data. Parameters verified against TI documentation (SLOS854).

DRV2605LDGSR FAQ
What should I check before substituting DRV2605LDGSR with another haptic driver?
Match the full ordering code, not the series name: package (VSSOP-10), temperature grade and packing all ride on the suffixes. A same-series code in a different package is a different orderable device, so confirm the substitute against the Texas Instruments datasheet before changing the BOM.
