AD7195BCPZ
Analog DevicesAD7195BCPZ is an Analog Devices 24-bit sigma-delta ADC in a 32-lead LFCSP, the AC/DC-excitation member of the AD719x family: its AC excitation mode removes bridge offset and drift errors that DC-excited load-cell systems otherwise calibrate out in firmware, which is why it anchors precision weigh-scale and strain-gauge designs. It provides two fully differential or four pseudo-differential inputs, PGA gains of 1 to 128 and output data rates from 4.7 Hz to 4.8 kHz, with the family's lowest noise in this group — 8.5 nV RMS at 4.7 Hz with gain 128, 16 noise-free bits at 2.4 kHz and up to 22.5 noise-free bits at gain 1. Analog Devices lists the AD7195 as recommended for new designs; note the analog supply is 4.75 V to 5.25 V only — there is no 3 V analog operation — with DVDD of 2.7 V to 5.25 V at 6 mA, specified from -40 to +105 °C. Selection advice: choose the AD7195 when AC excitation is part of the measurement strategy; choose the AD7193 or AD7194 on this site when a 3 V analog supply or more channels matter more.
