SC3402-02ETG is a 2-channel TVS and ESD protection array from Littelfuse (SPA series) in a SOD883 package, protecting 5 V interfaces with an ultra-low 0.4 pF typical capacitance. That capacitance preserves signal integrity on USB 3.x, HDMI and DisplayPort lines while the array absorbs IEC 61000-4-2 strikes of ±15 kV contact and ±20 kV air discharge plus 7 A of 8/20 µs surge current - protection against the most common cause of field returns on high-speed ports. Leakage is at most 100 nA at 5 V, so standby budgets are undisturbed. Selection advice: the ETG code is the SOD883 tape-and-reel variant; at 0.4 pF it suits high-speed differential pairs, while higher-capacitance SPA family members cost less for low-speed lines, so match the capacitance to the interface speed in the BOM.
