PI6CG33A06

The PI6CG33A06 is a six-output PCIe clock generator from Diodes with RMS jitter below 30 fs, comfortably inside the PCIe 7.0 budget of 67 fs and backward compatible with all earlier PCIe generations, for servers, storage and high-end embedded boards. It provides three fixed 100 MHz outputs, one fixed 25 MHz output and two outputs configurable for 25 MHz or 100 MHz, all with 85 ohm differential drivers. The LP-HCSL outputs integrate the termination, eliminating up to 24 external resistors and cutting clock power by at least 50%. The input accepts a 25 MHz crystal or an external XO, TCXO or OCXO reference, each output has an individual output enable, and SMBus programming covers spread spectrum and slew control. The device runs at 3.3 V over -40 C to +85 C in a compact 5 x 5 mm VQFN-40. Selection advice: verify the reference-clock architecture of your chipset first - common-clock designs can use this generator directly, while separate-reference (SRIS/SRNS) designs need the per-output spread and jitter behaviour checked against the platform guide.
