NXP SemiconductorsPCA9685BS,118 is an NXP 16-channel, 12-bit PWM Fm+ I2C-bus LED controller in HVQFN-28 — for compact LED backlighting and display designs that cannot take the TSSOP footprint. It is the HVQFN28 (6 × 6 × 0.85 mm, SOT788-1) package option of the PCA9685, with the same 12-bit per-channel PWM, typical 24 Hz to 1526 Hz shared output frequency, internal 25 MHz oscillator and 2.3 V to 5.5 V supply as the TSSOP version. Selection advice: choose PCA9685BS,118 when board area or height rules out TSSOP-28; the footprint and pinout differ from PCA9685PW, so the two packages are not drop-in interchangeable, and the BS reel quantity is 4000 pieces rather than 2500.
