FT813Q
BridgetekFT813Q is a Bridgetek second-generation EVE (Embedded Video Engine) graphics controller in 56-pin VQFN — for adding a rich touch HMI to any MCU without a graphics-capable processor: SVGA 800x600 resolution, 24-bit RGB output, 1 MB integrated graphics RAM, capacitive-touch control for up to 5 touches, SPI or Quad-SPI host interface, plus audio playback. The object-oriented display list is the selection point: the host MCU sends high-level commands (buttons, sliders, gauges) instead of pushing frame buffers, so an 8-bit AVR or Cortex-M0 can drive a full-color touch UI that would normally need an applications processor. That translates into lower BOM cost and simpler firmware for thermostats, access panels, medical devices and energy meters. Selection advice: the FT813 targets capacitive touch — for resistive panels the FT810/FT812 siblings are the pick; the Q suffix is the VQFN-56 package — confirm your LCD timing against the EVE programming guide before panel selection. Parameters verified against Bridgetek documentation.

FT813Q FAQ
What should I check before substituting FT813Q with another Graphics controller?
Match the full ordering code, not the series name: package (VQFN-56), temperature grade and packing all ride on the suffixes. A same-series code in a different package is a different orderable device, so confirm the substitute against the Bridgetek datasheet before changing the BOM.
