ESP32-WROOM-32E-N8

Espressif Systems

ESP32-WROOM-32E-N8 is a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module from Espressif built on the ESP32-D0WD-V3 dual-core Xtensa LX6 (up to 240 MHz), with 8 MB of Quad SPI Flash, 448 KB ROM and 520 KB SRAM behind a PCB antenna. The N8 configuration doubles the Flash of the N4 variant without adding PSRAM, which fits OTA-capable firmware and larger asset bundles while keeping the same 18.0 x 25.5 x 3.1 mm footprint and 38-pad layout as the rest of the WROOM-32E family - a drop-in capacity upgrade for existing carrier boards. It supports 802.11 b/g/n up to 150 Mbps and Bluetooth V4.2 BR/EDR plus LE, powered from 3.0 V to 3.6 V with a 40 MHz crystal. Selection advice: choose N8R2 instead when the firmware needs PSRAM, the H variants for 105 °C operation, or the WROOM-32UE for an external antenna; this variant is rated -40 to +85 °C. Parameters verified against the Espressif ESP32-WROOM-32E datasheet ordering table.
