ESP32-C5-WROOM-1U-N4

Espressif Systems

ESP32-C5-WROOM-1U-N4 is the external-antenna variant of the Espressif dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz) + Bluetooth 5 (LE) + 802.15.4 module, built around the ESP32-C5HF4 with 4 MB quad-SPI flash and no PSRAM in an 18.0 x 21.2 x 3.3 mm SMD footprint rated -40 to +85 °C. Where the WROOM-1 listings on this site use an on-board PCB antenna, the 1U routes RF to a connector (or module pin ANT2) — the pick when the enclosure is metal, the antenna must sit on the housing, or a higher-gain external antenna is needed. Per the module datasheet (v1.3, Table 1-2) the default antenna port is ANT1, and ordering the ANT2 port adds a T2 suffix to the code. Selection advice: this N4 is the 4 MB entry point of the 1U line — N8R8 and N16R8 versions add 8 MB PSRAM when firmware outgrows 4 MB; for on-board-antenna designs use the WROOM-1 codes listed separately.
