ATTINY85V-10PU
Microchip TechnologyATTINY85V-10PU is the low-voltage variant of Microchip's 8-bit ATtiny85 AVR in 8-pin PDIP — for battery-powered tiny controllers that must keep working as the cells fade: it operates from 1.8 V to 5.5 V, against the 2.7 V minimum of the standard ATtiny85. The trade is speed, and the guaranteed ceiling depends on the rail: the V grade is guaranteed to 4 MHz across the full 1.8–5.5 V range, and its full 10 MHz rating requires 2.7–5.5 V (datasheet 2586Q speed grades), where the 20-grade reaches 20 MHz at 4.5–5.5 V; memory is the same 8 KB Flash, 512 B EEPROM and 512 B SRAM (datasheet 2586Q). Selection advice: the 10PU code denotes the 10 MHz V-grade in PDIP-8 tube — choose it when your supply rail can fall below 2.7 V; for 5 V designs the standard ATTINY85-20PU on this site is the faster default. The two variants are pin-compatible but not electrically interchangeable on a qualified BOM without checking the voltage and speed corner.
