TPS25940

Texas Instruments

TPS25940 is a Texas Instruments 2.7V to 18V eFuse with true reverse-current blocking and DevSleep support in a 4x3mm 20-pin WQFN — for SSD power and 12V rail protection where back-to-back FETs must block both directions: enterprise SSDs, hot-swap bays and battery-backed systems. Integrated back-to-back FETs (42mΩ) provide bidirectional control, 0.6A to 5.3A adjustable current limit, programmable dV/dt inrush control, and 1µs reverse-voltage shutoff. The 95µA DevSleep mode meets SATA device-sleep compliance. Selection advice: the A variant adds the DEVSLP pin — for pure protection without DevSleep the base code suffices; for higher current (15A) step up to the TPS25982 on this site. UL 2367 recognized for safety-critical designs. Parameters verified against TI documentation. State quantity, packing and date-code requirements in your RFQ; we reconfirm the offered lot before quotation and reply within 24 hours.

SELECTION GUIDANCE

TPS25940 selection guidance

TPS25940 is a eFuse from Texas Instruments, orderable in the WQFN-20 package. The ordering code fixes the exact configuration you receive — package, grade and packing — so procurement starts with matching this code character-for-character against your BOM, not just the base series name.

When you request a quote, include the full ordering code, the target packing format (reel, tube, tray or cut tape), your quantity and any date-code or lot requirements. We reconfirm manufacturer, suffix, package, date code and traceability against the actual offered lot before any commercial quote is issued, and every RFQ gets a reply within 24 hours.

COMMON QUESTIONS

TPS25940 FAQ

What do the suffixes in TPS25940 mean?

Every suffix in a manufacturer ordering code identifies one exact orderable device — package, temperature grade, packing format or a revision. TPS25940 names the WQFN-20 configuration; a code that differs by even one suffix character may be a different device. Always quote the complete code exactly as it appears on your BOM.

What is the difference between package and packing for TPS25940?

The package (WQFN-20) is the physical form of the device itself. Packing describes how the devices are delivered — reel, tube, tray or cut tape. The same ordering code can ship in different packing formats depending on the lot, so confirm the required packing format when you submit your RFQ.

Can you provide traceability documents for TPS25940?

Traceability evidence — lot and date-code information, labels and photos — is confirmed per lot at quotation time, because it depends on the actual lot offered. Tell us which documents your receiving inspection requires when you submit the RFQ, and we will confirm what can be provided for the offered lot.

How do I request a quotation for TPS25940?

Add TPS25940 to your RFQ with the complete ordering code, the manufacturer (Texas Instruments), your quantity, the target packing format and any date-code requirements. We reply to every RFQ within 24 hours.
